The primary mission of the project was to continue with energy efficiency improvements to the Waiawa Pump Station. The WPS is the primary potable water source for the Pearl Harbor Complex Water Distribution System, which serves the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam operation and housing, along with the Red Hill and Halawa Pump Stations. The project scope included the disconnect and removal of Pump and Motor #4 and associated discharge valves and piping, blow-off piping, and control valves.
