This project involved the electrical design for the renovation of a deep water well pumping facility. The project included replacement of a 100HP deep well pump motor, motor control center, related controls, SCADA, control wiring, and lighting. The project also replaced the existing system. The electrical service to the facility was updated and an outdated automatic transfer switch and standby generator were replaced. The project required that the chlorination system and monitoring remain active at all times. Therefore, a key feature of the design was the phasing plan for construction. This included temporary HECO services and power connections between the pump building and the chlorination building.
